nothing but praise for the car. For a 10 year old vehicle the condition
is exceptional and there are not any faults that I can find. The vehicle
is extremely tight and drives like a car a couple of years old. People

Art, just a quick note re the Mazda
Roadster (92 reg) I got from you in Feb.
It passed the NCT today and the examiner was so impressed with it, he offered
to buy it from me. I declined, but gave him your number. The car is
driving great and the only criticism I have is that I didn't buy one sooner!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these cars to anyone and thanks for the

Dear Art & Gary ,
just a note to let you know how happy we are with our Eunos - we
have now covered just over 1000km, although the opportunities to
drive with the hood down have been limited due to the weather.
This has however provided a good test for the new hood you fitted
before collection of the car, which is proving to be 100%
watertight, unlike some Brit sports cars we have owned in the
past !
The Registration Document arrived last weekend so that's the last
of the documentation sorted and we would just like to take this
opportunity to thank you for the efficient,friendly approach to
selling cars - which was quite refreshing compared to some
dealers we visited.

Hi Art,
Well, I've had my silver roadster for about
five weeks now ....... and I love it!
It took a couple of days to get used to the firm suspension and
very positive steering but once you get the feel of the car it is
really fun to drive, especially on a nice day with the top
down.
I've had numerous comments about the superb condition of the car. People find it hard to believe that it is twelve years old and say that it looks more like a two year old car. Please give my regards to Gary and my thanks for sorting out the exhaust, also the tips on radio installation, I would probably have done some damage to the consoles without his advice. Once again, thanks for everything.
Based on my experience I would recommend your
company to anyone looking to buy a good Japanese import.

I bought a Yellow MX5 from you about a year ago now, I said when
I picked it
up that I'd send u some pictures of it, I have attached one of it
but it is
an old picture taken last year. I have done many things to it
since then
(including, installing a Playstation and TV). When I get round to

and it really

Dear Art, Thank you for your e-mail with advice on the spark plugs you fitted, I will check them. This reminds me that Ian asked if you had fitted a radio band expander, did you? I must apologise for not having e-mailed you before this but it has been somewhat hectic over the past few weeks, my wife is away on business in South America and I myself have been away a lot in the Midlands (not quite so exciting as South America!) This and the fact that the weather has been so terrible means I have only taken the MX5 out of the garage on one occasion for a very brief drive. However I have to say that on picking the car up from Ian/Adrien in Holyhead I was as delighted with the car as you said I would be. It is in excellent condition and has obviously been very well looked after. It was an appalling afternoon/evening for the drive back to Devon from Holyhead but the car drove extremely well and so I thank you for the preparation that you gave it. I appreciate that with the change of regulations it was a bit of a trial for you as well as a wait for me to get the car. However it was indeed very well worth waiting for and so I am now looking forward to some decent summer weather to really enjoy it to the full. I should also point out that Ian has been very attentive and Adrien, who collected me from the railway station, was extremely kind and helpful. Hi
Just a note to say that the Roadster (92 V-Spec) is street lagal
and running. He has to fight for street parking space with a
dozen MkIIs but the adhesive front plate makes him look too
cheeky to mess with.
We just made the deadline to avoid the SVA test but the whole

Just a quick note to say that I've made it back OK. Just finished
a four hour drive from Hollyhead through twisty A roads and
general 'car testing' areas!. The car was superb and has
been everything you said it was.

Hi Art,
Well its all sorted now, car flew the MOT, all registered in 5
minutes due to all the correct paperwork being present (very very
lucky you called me, thanks) and I'm just waiting for the
documents. About a week they reckon, but of course I can now
drive the ZZ plates legally until the DVLA sort everything out.
Had an alarm and imobiliser fitted today so now my insurance
company will cover me for theft, thank god!. Also fitted a fog
light myself ..........Finally Art, do me a favour and keep an
eye out for any 'special' Integras over the next few months. I am
considering selling this one within 6 months and to 'upgrade' to
a newer one through yourself. Has to be Silver and of course with
all the toys!.
Give me a shout if you see anything you think I'll like.

Thought you would be interested to see the car I bought from you being put to good use ! (Photo attached) We had a successful holiday in the French Alps with the Forrester carrying five people, plus luggage all the way there and back. Sub-zero all week, with snow on most roads, with a fallen tree to avoid as well.
No problems at all with the vehicle, and no one else had Mont Blanc roof bars.

Hi Art and Liz,
I am sure you will be pleased to hear that I have got the MX-5
registered in
this country. In fact they have registered the car far more
quickly than I
was expecting. As you can imagine I am thrilled. The car is
absolutely
superb and I am enjoying every minute of driving it. My local
mechanic
thought it was a very sound car and couldn't believe the price!!!
The MoT process was pretty much as I had expected. The car needed
a new
front tyre but I was fairly sure of this myself when I saw it so
it wasn't a
surprise. The only surprise was that a new set of seat belts had
to be
fitted. Apparently the seat belts did not have a British standard
kite mark
so this job had to be done. This might be useful info. for future
customers
although I expect that I had a guy who was following everything
to the
absolute letter. (Apparently some of the Japanese importers here
don't
bother although they know the mark is missing). It was not
expensive about
£70. It took about a week to get all the MoT and servicing bits
done and the
VRO took about 4-5 days to process the whole thing. Altogether
the timing
has been perfect as the temporary registration runs out on Sunday
but
everything was completed today (Friday 13th - always a very lucky
day for me
- perhaps I should buy a lottery ticket).
The journey across from Dublin was very easy and the car
functioned
perfectly. We have taken it on the motorway and the performance
is superb -
I will need to be careful not to use too much speed as it has far
more
acceleration than my old car!!!.
Thanks to both you and Liz for all your help and hospitality when
we came to
pick the car up. I am extremely pleased with it and find it hard
to believe
that I actually have it!!! I am absolutely certain that I will
find it very
difficult to drive anything else!

Just a note to let you know that I am now the proud owner of a UK registered Mazda MX5. I got my registration number back on Friday 28th so I have spent the sunny holiday weekend driving around with the roof down !!!
The drive home was fine, no problems at all except tiredness!! My mechanic MOT'd, serviced and checked the car over and apart from new front pads no work was needed. He did change the cam belt as you suggested..
I used the company you suggested on your website for the rear screen, Perspex Vision and I can honestly say that the car looks better than new now and the gentleman was so nice and helpful it was a real pleasure to deal with him after my experience at (name witheld). I did let him know that you had recommended him.
