€675 for standard vinyl soft top with zip plastic rear window, black.
€995 for soft top with heated glass rear window for Mk1 or Mk2, black.
€1,195 for soft top with heated glass rear window for Mk1 or Mk2, black mohair.
Other colours available €100 extra.
Prices include fitting and VAT.
Replacement Plastic Rear Window (New plastic stitched in):
€185 for plastic rear window supply only. (DIY)
€250 for plastic rear window fitted.
Note:
1. Nobody will beat us on price! €675 is the best price we know of in Ireland for a MX5 soft-top, correctly fitted.
2. We'll fit a high quality hood with a separate plastic rear window which can be unzipped, and easily replaced if damaged.
3. It will be expertly fitted!! We have done loads of them, and they are tricky to get just right. At this stage we have it mastered!
4. Price also includes removal, examination, and , if necessary, repair of the rain rail. If this is not properly done the hood will leak onto the rear parcel shelf, and into the boot. Note there is no extra charge for this, it is included in the prices above. We have often been asked to repair defective work done by others. In this case we do charge!!
5. Price also includes examination and if necessary replacement of the tension cables.
6. Price also includes cleaning out of the drain holes.
7. Even a high quality hood will look poor if badly fitted. The doors may catch the seams when closing, the edges of the soft top may twist against the sides of the car when being lowered and raised, and finally it may leak, cause wind noise and detract from the appearance of the car. We know all these problems, and care about getting it just right. Each hood is carefully installed, no job is rushed.
8. If your soft top is okay but you need a replacement rear plastic window we'll do it for Euro 250 fitted.
9. You can now upgrade to a heated glass rear window! No need to unzip, simply undo the catches and the roof folds down in one movement. It has the standard electrical connections, usually no extra wiring is required, simply a switch for the dash. Electrical connection, if required, is not included in the price.
