Comments:
Available from 1990 to 1994. Supplied with 14'' alloys. Could do with 15'' or even 16'' alloys. Intercooler mounted on top of engine so not as efficient as Lancer Evo. Some models have the umbrella in the door. (Nice touch). Many cars are modified. Some mods such as suspension and wheels are an advantage.
Good performance for the money. Can handle more power and very easy to tune. Gearbox, engine and drive shafts will take 280 bhp with no problem provided mods done properly. Will also run on regular unleaded.
Roof rattles on nearly all cars, but generally they are reliable. Watch out for accident repairs and ask for an auction sheet if from Japan.
